Why do we dedicate children?

Child Dedication is based out of 1 Samuel 1:21-28, parents acknowledging that they will strive to be faithful Christian parents, raising their child in the ways of the Lord. We will also encourage the church to partner with you, love your child unconditionally, and be godly examples and mentors to them.

I am ready to make this serious public declaration of my intent to commit to obey God’s word, and pass on my faith to the next generation.
